Does your heart sink when you realise it’s walk time? The worries and what-ifs start creeping in before you’ve even stepped foot outside the front door?
Welcome, you’ve found the right place…
When we first speak on the phone, owners are often at their wits end.
They’re overwhelmed or embarrassed by their dog’s behaviour out on walks. The barking, the lunging, the constant pulling on the lead. Or maybe it’s the planting and refusing to walk.
They’ve spent many an evening searching google for answers, bamboozled by all the contradictory advice that’s out there. They feel like they’ve tried everything, and nothing has worked.
And all they really want is to look forward to walks again: calm stress-free wanders, with their dog happily trotting by their side
I was once that owner, and the lessons I learnt along the way while struggling with my own dog inspired me to ditch my 20 year career as an accountant and re-train as a dog trainer. And now I spend my days supporting people just like you, who want the best for their dog, and who just need a bit of a helping hand to get there.
When you sign up with me, you’re getting a fully accredited dog trainer and qualified canine behaviour practitioner, with a wealth of knowledge and years of experience working with dogs.

The best thing we’ve done for our dog
She barked – a lot. Towards the end of our sessions there was a noticeable difference (night and day!) in her behaviour.
Clare’s positive reinforcement approach was backed up with clear frameworks that just made sense and super comprehensive reports. We haven’t had to make any wholesale changes to our routines, but the straightforward guidance and simple tricks have helped us develop behaviours and habits that have improved Paxton’s experience.
Going into this I knew it would be us as owners who were actually getting trained, and Clare is just as good with people as with dogs. Clare’s approach is personal, kind and had our dog’s best interest at heart above our immediate need to quieten her down, which has helped us to understand her needs and create a better environment for her.
Even if your dog doesn’t exhibit unwanted behaviour I would recommend Clare as a ‘life coach’ for dogs/owners to give them the best possible experience. We’re looking forward to booking in again in a few months to share Paxton’s progress.
Thank you so much for everything!”

Confidence giving!
I have always been nervous to have anyone walk her other than myself and my partner. The top and bottom of it is that Clare knows her stuff and she truly cares about what she is doing. I couldn’t ask for more.
She’s given me confidence that my dog (and Clare) are both safe while out having a walk. Trainers / walkers like Clare are really hard to find – believe me – and I’m truly grateful. She is stuck with me and the ginger ninja hopefully for a very long time!”
