Not all dogs thrive in a group walk setting, not all dogs enjoy being walked with others. So I provide a service for those dogs who prefer their own company. And this means I can focus all my attention on making it the walk they want it to be.

I choose the best locations and activities specific to the requirements of each individual dog – walks with space away from other dogs or people, enriching environments where they can sniff or run and explore to their heart’s content.

Your dog gets a unique adventure every time they come out with me, and they arrive back home tired and happy. And you can see what they’ve been up to with photos and updates of their walks provided on Facebook or Whatsapp.

Home visits

Some dogs don’t need or want a walk every day. Home visits are perfect if you have a fearful or anxious dog who struggles with walks, a dog with a medical condition or recovering from surgery.

I can visit them to let them out for a loo break, play games, provide enrichment activities, or snuggle time and some company to break up their day.

FAQs

What needs to happen before you can walk my dog?

I’ll meet you at your home with your dog present, to discuss your requirements and go through the necessary paperwork.

This can be arranged for whenever is convenient to you, including evenings and weekends.

My dog barks and lunges at other dogs, will you still take them?

Absolutely, I’m always happy to walk dogs that can be reactive.

We can discuss their individual needs at the initial meet and greet, and I will follow any guidance or training protocols as previously advised by a qualified force-free trainer.

My dog is scared of new people, will you still walk them?

Yes of course. If your dog is nervous of strangers I am more than happy to take things as slowly as he or she needs.

We can do the initial meet and greet outside of the house if that makes them (and you!) more comfortable, and as many visits as necessary to build their confidence with me before starting walks.

As above, I will follow any guidance or training protocols as advised by a qualified force-free trainer.

Are you happy to walk my dog if they pull a lot?

A very common question and the answer is yes!

I use a heavy duty walking belt with bungee cords to secure the lead when I’m walking a dog that has a tendency to pull, so both your dog and I are kept safe and comfortable.

Where will my dog be walked?

Wherever you want… If your dog doesn’t travel well or prefers to stay local, we can walk from your house.

If your dog likes to explore further afield, I’ll drive to suitable locations for us to walk. I know all the best spots for quiet peaceful walks and quality sniffing time!

How will you transport my dog?

In the back seat of my car, which is fitted with front and rear seat guards and a seatbelt restraint.

What about safety & security?

I am DBS checked and fully insured. Your house keys are kept safe, and I use a colour coding system (similar to estate agents) so that they can’t be traced – I never attach names, addresses, or even pet names, to keys.
